2026 Candidate Endorsements

AG-PAC's endorsements reflect the collective judgment of our member organizations and board of directors, based on each candidate's demonstrated record on issues affecting Oregon's agricultural, forestry, and natural resource industries. Our endorsements are a meaningful indicator of where Oregon agriculture stands — and who has earned its support.

Transparency & Process

How We Select Candidates

AG-PAC's endorsement process is deliberate, member-driven, and nonpartisan in its criteria. We evaluate candidates based on the issues — not party affiliation. The endorsement committee draws on input from AG-PAC board members and statewide member associations to evaluate each candidate on the following criteria:

01

Voting Record & Positions

We review each candidate's voting history and publicly stated positions on issues affecting Oregon's agricultural, forestry, and natural resource industries — including land use, water rights, labor policy, environmental regulation, and trade.

02

Committee Assignments & Legislative Influence

We consider each candidate's committee assignments and their capacity to meaningfully influence legislation affecting Oregon's natural resource industries.

03

District Representation

We evaluate the presence and impact of AG-PAC member organizations within each candidate's district — ensuring our endorsements reflect the communities most directly affected by legislative decisions.

04

Demonstrated Commitment

Beyond voting records, we look for candidates who have shown a genuine and sustained commitment to Oregon's agricultural and natural resource communities through their engagement, accessibility, and advocacy.

Endorsement recommendations are brought to the full AG-PAC board of directors for review and approval before any public announcement is made. Endorsements may include a financial contribution to the candidate's campaign. AG-PAC endorsements are nonpartisan in their criteria — we support candidates based on issues, not party affiliation.
